Why are Jesuits regarded as magicians?

Why is it that Jesuits are regarded as like magicians, I thought they were supposed to be a really strict Catholic organization.
I had wondered about this when researching stuff before, and it came into my mind again when I noticed a mention in the 'about the author' section of Andrieh's book.

Well I obviously am not a Jesuit, and only have the stories from my family... but I wills say that you might be surprised how much Catholicism is about magic when you are inside the church.

My family is Eastern Orthodox, which does not subscribe to the sanitized ( buddy christ version of Christianity), Eastern Orthodox is more honest that the demons and angels and shit like that,.. well for them its real. Excorcisms are real.

In the Catholic church however, the only order that has the training and right to perform excorcisms AFTER its been investigated is the Jesuits. This has to do with their training. IF you have ever done a real exorcism, after youve investigated to rule out psychological breakdown, This REQUIRES a real magician. Trust me. I know. Based on what members of my family have said, this training, would pretty well be ceremonial magic in nature including body torturing ( which is really focus techniques), sitting still and other "magical training excercises". My cousins father kinda was a priest, and went to haiti to do missonary work then decided to also get intiatied into Vodou. But, based on what my ancesters say, I would probalby be hesitant to use anything like ceremonial magic against a jesuit priest, especially the ones who do not have to regularly have to do masses. If they arent doing masses, yeah Id bet they are more magicians. The Jesuits also could "have certain" less restrictions which make sense if they have to go toe to toe with demons.

Keep in mind, the Vatacan and this isnt paranoia, has been hording metaphysical and occult artifacts for 1500 years. Some of the worst fucking demonic grimores come out of popes or bishops magical work. The catholic mass is so steeped in ceremonial magic, and outside of more modern "populazation"... really the church and the occult have been closely tied for centuries.
The Jesuits are like the magical shock troops in a way, their training definately by what I heard rivals any magical training. Keep in mind, they get to work on it for 12 hours a day... most of us, well we get to work on it for 1 hour a day... That said, that doesnt mean their training is effecient.... but I will say from my ancesters, the Couple dead jesuits I talk to KNOW alot of shit, and are actually very knowlegable. Of course, this is subjective, and take it for what its worth.
